Dayna Wrisley
Beginning Preschool Lead Teacher
My name is Dayna Wrisley. I have been working in the early childhood field for 18 years. Eleven of those years was spent teaching 3-year-old preschool. I received my CDA for preschool through Mott Community college. I live in Fenton with my husband Nick, our two young boys, and our fur babies, Meeka and Skeeter! I love having the opportunity to teach your little ones and watch all the ways they learn and grow in the classroom!
Autumn Barker
Toddler Lead Teacher
I am Autumn Barker. I have been in the childcare setting since 2016. Currently I am a Toddler Lead, but have also been a Pre-K Lead, as well as an Assistant Director. Working with kids is something I have dreamt of since I was little, and I love getting to live that dream. I graduated in 2018 with my bachelor’s degree from Concordia University Ann Arbor. In 2022, I married my husband, Max and we are the proud parents to our sweet pup Bongo and many, many chickens.
Elizabeth Wilson
Infant Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Wilson. I have been working at the center for six years now, I started as an assistant teacher in the infant room and have been a lead infant teacher for two years now. I went to school at Eastern Michigan University and graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. As I was finishing my degree, I found myself visiting the daycare every day and knew this was where my heart was. I absolutely love my job and these kids!
Stephanie Lookebill
Preschool Lead Teacher
My name is Stephanie Lookebill. I have 12 years’ experience in childcare, 8 of those years being here at Fenton Early Learning Center. I was the preschool assistant for many years and this year I moved into the Lead Teacher position. I have loved children for as long as I can remember, including my own three who are now adults. We are a sports loving family who enjoys hanging out together and traveling any chance we get.
Karen McCraw
Young Fives Lead Teacher
My name is Karen McCraw. I have an associate and bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Baker College. I have thirty years’ experience in educating children, fourteen of the years is in preschool/Pre-K teaching. When I am not teaching, I love to take hikes and spend time with my dogs.
Tania Wilson
Director
My name is Tania Wilson. I have an associate degree in child development from Mott Community College. I came to Fenton Early Learning Center in 2017, where I started as the Lead Infant Teacher. In 2020, I became the Director. My love for children started at an early age, as I watched my mom and aunt teach in the classroom. I have four children of my own that mean the world to me and a dog that thinks he is just another kid. My family always has a way of keeping me busy. We love to watch hockey together, especially the Boston Bruins, and enjoy game night around the table.
